Maven raises over $12,500 for Oxfam

Maven is proud to support the Oxfam Trailwalker event for a second year. In 2008 Maven entered two teams and together they managed to raise $7,000 towards this very worthy cause.

This year another two Maven teams participated, this time raising more than $12,500 for Oxfam. Congratulations to the Maven Movers (Lesley, Steve, Paul and Ashley) and the Maven Groovers (Jo, Ann, Steve and Andy) for all their hard work.

The Oxfam Trailwalker challenges teams to walk 100kms around Taupo, most of it cross-country. The Movers and the Groovers would like to thank all those who sponsored them, and also the two support crews who provided encouragement, food and massages at checkpoints throughout the 24 hour event.
