Our Board
Wayne Norrie, Chairman
Wayne has over 30 years IT industry experience. Ten of these were spent in technical and software development roles, while the rest were in sales and management.
In addition to Maven, Wayne Chairs a range of organisations including the Hi Tech Association (HTA), Team BLM (making the Bruce McLaren movie), Fronde and the NZTE Beachheads Programme. He previously served on the Hi Growth Board and is a Director of Revera, and ASPEQ Ltd.
Wayne is a member of DTEP (Digital Technologies Expert Panel) for the Ministry of Education, which aims to enhance ICT in secondary schools. Other memberships include the WCNZ (World Class New Zealander) network within KEA, the Institute of Directors and he is a Fellow of the NZ Institute of Management.
Paul Reid, Independent Director
Paul joined Maven’s Board as an Independent Director in 2011. He is a strategic thinker with a proven ability to enhance organisational performance with innovative and forward-thinking solutions. Paul is currently New Zealand Post’s Group General Manager, Innovation & Technology. Prior to taking this role he was CEO of MetService for four years. Paul has held a variety of senior commercial and operational positions with Air New Zealand, Carter Holt Harvey and Ernst & Young.
Lesley Kennedy, Director
Lesley is Maven’s Chief Executive and a shareholder in the business. With over 20 years experience in business, she has held senior roles in large multinational IT and financial organisations, as well as establishing and operating two of her own businesses in New Zealand. Her particular areas of expertise include business strategy and management, negotiation, organisational transformation and innovation. Lesley is a member of the Institute of Directors, the Emerging Directors’ Group, and an alumnus of The Executive Connection (a Global membership-based CEO Forum).
Cameron Inskeep, Director
Cameron is a senior Maven consultant specialising in strategically-driven business improvement, helping customers identify strategic requirements and converting these into tangible operational improvements. Cameron has worked for multinational consulting firms and as an independent consultant, both in New Zealand and overseas. He has broad base of experience having worked across a wide range of sectors and organisations.
David Deacon, Director
David is a senior Maven consultant, with a background in information and technology management. David is a strategic thinker and has successfully delivered strategic planning assignments in both general business and information systems contexts. He offers advice and support for design, development and quality assurance of processes and methods.
