Sharen Paine

 

Sharen is a systems thinker and strategist with an extensive career spanning public, private and not-for-profit sectors. The key focus of her work is whole-of-system thinking and intra- and inter-organisation networking and collaboration, with the key outcome of developing coherent strategic direction and aligning organisational effort to improve service provision and performance.


Sharen's career has provided her with a unique systems perspective and a series of real world tools applicable to a range of settings and outcome-focused projects. She can work across a range of sectors by applying systems thinking and negotiation to diverse and at times competing interests.

Sharen offers expertise in the establishment of effective approaches to organisational functioning for viability, helping organisations remain focused on their purpose, continuously adapt to their customers and environment and leverage the benefits that technology has to offer. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration from Otago University, bringing rigorous academic grounding to her practical consulting work.
