Organisation Wide Transformation Programme
A local government organisation sought to deliver significant, organisation wide transformation and was looking for a trusted partner to support the change journey. Maven was engaged to develop the foundational business case, shape and support the delivery of the transformation programme.
Our Approach
We adopted a principles based, partnership approach grounded in co-design, staff engagement and capability uplift. Working closely with leaders and staff, we designed a staged transformation process that allowed momentum to build while establishing shared understanding of capability, capacity and expectations. We undertook a comprehensive current state assessment, facilitated future state visioning using scenario analysis, and defined clear outcomes, benefits and measures of success. These were translated into a prioritised set of initiatives and a robust business case covering strategic, economic, financial and management considerations.
Outcome
The business case and funding request were approved, enabling the organisation to commence transformation delivery. Maven then supported the design of a multi workstream programme, including organisational design and a future state target operating model. The organisation gained a clear roadmap for change, strong staff ownership, and a fit for purpose operating model designed to be agile, customer-focused, efficient and resilient over time.
