Kate Sommerfield
Kate is an energetic and thorough Senior Project Manager and Scrum Master with over 10 years of IT project management experience across government agencies, financial organisations and a range of other industries. She is experienced in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and holds Prince2 and Scrum Master certifications.
Kate brings deep practical experience in delivering complex IT projects, having worked across a diverse range of sectors. She has held project management roles at the Ministry of Education, Provoke Solutions, Fronde and Bank of New Zealand Insurances, giving her a broad appreciation of the different governance, risk and delivery environments that organisations operate within.
With experience running Agile teams, Kate has successfully transitioned several teams from Waterfall to Scrum and has worked as an Agile coach, helping teams build the capability and confidence to deliver iteratively and continuously improve.
